Tinsmithing Workshop
This workshop is taught by local tinsmith, Roy Phillips. It is an introduction to the Art of Tinning and designed to provide a beginning knowledge of 18th & 19th century tinning using manual construction tools and techniques. There is a variety of projects to choose from. Students will be able to construct up to seven reproduction items including a candleholder, wall sconce, typical pie cabinet picture, side pour coffee pot, one pint mug, and more! Starting with a basic layout and pattern making, participants will have instruction on the cutting, forming, and assembly of their project.
This workshop is $125 for members and $150 for non-members.
